    Ghee 1 tsp
    Cardamom Powder 1 tsp.

Step 1

In a pan, dry roast sesame seeds on low to medium heat until it become light brown.

Step 2

Remove them in a plate and let them cool completely. Once it cools down, grind them in a blender to make a coarse powder.

Step 3

Crumble mawa and add in the frying pan. Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes. Keep stirring. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder and stir it well for 2 min.

Step 4

Add coarse powder of sesame seeds and mix it well. Cook for few minutes till it starts combining and become like a dough. Switched off the flame and let it cool down little bit

Step 5

When it still warm, greased your hand and start making a ladoo. To make ladoo, take a small portion of the mixture and roll it in your hands to give a round or any desired shape.

Sesame seeds mawa/Til khoya ladoo is ready to serve. Keep it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks and enjoy with your family.

1. While toasting the sesame seeds, it should not overcook otherwise will give you a bitter taste.

2. You can use ready-made mawa or ricotta cheese instead of using fresh mawa that will reduce your cooking time.

3. The quantity of sugar depends on the taste. You can add more if you like sweeter.
