Mango Lassi/How to make Mango Lassi at home

Here is another quick drink recipe of mango is mango lassi.

Lassi is popular traditional yogurt drink from India. It could be sweet or salted and can be flavored with spices and fruits. Lassi has many flavors; mango lassi is one of the variations of sweet lassi.

Mango lassi is made with mango pulp, water, yogurt, and sugar. It is supper yum though I don’t like mango shake but love mango lassi a lot. You can either use fresh mango pulp or frozen mangoes. You can buy mango pulp from the store. Ashi doesn't like readymade mango pulp from the store in any mango drinks or dessert. I always prepare mango pulp at home.


  • Mango pulp 1 1/2 cup
    Sugar/honey 2 tbsp.
    Curd 2 cup
    Water 1 cup
    Ice cubes as few


Step 1

In the blender add mango pulp, sugar, and yogurt. The amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of mangoes. I have added 2 tbsp. Blend it until smooth.

Step 2

Add water/milk according to desired consistency. I have added 1 cup.

Serve chilled in the glass and garnish with mint leaves as per taste.


 1. You can add cardamom powder, saffron or any other essence like rose water, cardamom essence.

 2. You can use more or less water as per desired consistency.

 3. You can add some ice cubes too.
